Delete your LumiNote account
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in LumiNote: AI PDF Reader ("LumiNote") and what happens to your data when you do.
Delete your account in the app
Open LumiNote and go to Profile → Account Settings → Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
Request deletion on the web
If you no longer have the app, or can't sign in, emailluminotesofficial@gmail.comfrom your account's email address with the subject"Delete my LumiNote account". Within 30 days, we'll delete everything listed under "What gets deleted" below. We use your account's email address to confirm the request is yours, so please send it from that address.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, and sign-in account)
- Your profile photo
- Your folders
- Your PDFs, including any in Recently Deleted
- Your AI chat history
- Reports you've made about AI answers (the question, answer, and reason)
- Your usage records
- Your subscriber record at RevenueCat
- The caches and settings stored on your device, including downloaded narration audio
- LumiNote's Sign in with Apple authorization, which we revoke with Apple
What's kept
- Purchase records held by Apple and Google. They keep their own records of your purchases, which we don't control and can't delete, along with anything else we're legally required to keep.
- The shared narration cache, for up to 30 days. This is generated audio stored under a hash of the text and voice settings. It's keyed by the content rather than by who asked for it and isn't linked to any account, so it isn't removed when you delete your account, but it expires within 30 days.
Website waitlist
If you joined the waitlist on this website, that signup isn't linked to your app account, so deleting your account doesn't remove it. To be removed, email luminotesofficial@gmail.comwith the subject "Remove me from the LumiNote waitlist".
Deleting a folder or PDF
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove a PDF. Deleting a PDF, or a folder of PDFs, moves the PDFs to Recently Deleted, where you can restore them for 30 days. After that they're permanently deleted.
If you signed in with Google
Deleting your account doesn't remove LumiNote's access from your Google account automatically. You can remove it atmyaccount.google.com/connections.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — Apple or Google bills it, not us. Cancel it separately on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or on Android in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, ideally before deleting your account.
