Frequently asked questions
How do I restore my purchases?
If you've reinstalled LumiNote or switched to a new iPhone, sign in with the same LumiNote
account, then go to Profile → Account Settings → Account → Subscription and tap
Restore Purchases. You can also tap Restore Purchases on the paywall. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the same Apple ID you subscribed with. If your
plan still doesn't show up, email us with the email on your LumiNote account.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID, so they're cancelled in Apple's settings:
on your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose
LumiNote, and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from
Profile → Account Settings → Account → Subscription → Manage Subscription
in the app, which opens your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current
period ends to avoid being charged for the next one. You keep access until the end of
the period you've paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Account Settings → Account → Danger Zone → Delete
Account. Deletion is permanent and immediate: it removes your profile, folders, AI chat
history, AI reports, and usage records, and erases your PDFs and profile photo. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an
App Store subscription, so cancel that first in your Apple ID settings. You can
also email us to request deletion — see Delete your account.
What file types and sizes are supported?
LumiNote works with PDF files under 20 MB, on every plan. The PDF needs a real text
layer, like textbooks, journal articles, lecture slides, and case briefs. Scanned,
image-only PDFs won't read aloud. Page limits per PDF depend on your plan: up to 25 pages
on Free, 150 on Pro, and 400 on Ultra.
