Using LumiNote

LumiNote is an app that narrates PDFs aloud with word-by-word highlighting and answers questions about the page you're on. It's currently in development and closed testing. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use LumiNote.

Your content

You keep ownership of the PDFs, notes, and folders you upload or create. By uploading a document, you grant LumiNote a limited license to store, process, and transmit it solely to provide the service to you — generating narration, answering your questions, and syncing across your devices. We don't claim ownership of your content and don't use it to train any model.

Acceptable use

Only upload PDFs you have the right to use — your own notes, licensed course materials, or public-domain works. Don't upload material you don't have the rights to, and don't use the AI chat to try to generate illegal or harmful content. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.

Subscriptions and billing

LumiNote offers a free tier, Pro at $15/month, and Ultra at $25/month. Once in-app purchases are live, subscriptions are billed and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, including trials, renewals, and refunds — the price, trial length, and terms shown at checkout in the store are authoritative. LumiNote never processes or stores your payment card details.

You can cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play account. Canceling stops future renewal but doesn't refund the current billing period, except as required by that store's refund policy.

Availability

LumiNote is under active development. Features, pricing, and availability may change, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime while we're in this early stage. We'll try to give notice of major changes through the app or the email you signed up with.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including uploading content you have no right to or abusing the service. You can delete your own account at any time from Profile → Account Settings.

Liability

LumiNote is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, LumiNote is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
